"We were in the third quarter in Super Bowl XIX before we broke the huddle I was thinking about my first Super Bowl XIV with the LA Rams that we lost. It was third down and four yards to go for the first down. Joe had called my play, it was an inside trap. I new if we got the first down, then we would score, and I could get my winning ring. I got the ball and saw Roger throw his block -- he and his man went to the ground. The hole was more to the inside; I cut back into the hole and saw the linebacker number fifty one in the hole. Randy Cross our guard was on his way to block him, I was then able to pick up the first down and able to get my first Super Bowl ring."
