This is one of the most unique memories we have seen so far, you have to read it to believe it! Kenny King has a special place in Raider fan’s heart, he performed when it mattered most and made big plays in big games:

THE MEMORY SERIES I:
by Kenneth L. King
Born March 7, 1957 in Clarendon, TX
“The night before the Super Bowl I was having dinner with my parents. The defensive coaching staff of the Eagles was also having dinner at the same restaurant. There was a Raider and Eagles banner on the wall above the coaching staff. After they completed their dinner I noticed the Raider’s banner crumpled and under the table. I approached the defensive coordinator outside the restaurant and told him that because you crumpled and threw the Raiders banner on the floor it would cost you!
When I ran into the endzone on this pass, I could only think of the night before. It was payback time and as I spiked the ball, it went right in the direction of the Eagles head coach. Man, what a feeling!”

THE MEMORY SERIES II:
by Jerry Lee Rice

“I had to make an adjustment on this catch. The ball was on the opposite side of my shoulder. My 200th came exactly the way I wanted it. Then I celebrated with my teammate Charlie Garner.”

Affectionately referred to as “Mr. Raider”, Tim Brown is one of the greatest wide receivers of all-time. We are proud to partner with Mr. Brown to create a Memothentic that commemorates his 1000th catch as an Oakland Raider. Just take a look at this silver and black masterpiece:

THE MEMORY SERIES IA:
by Timothy Donell Brown
Born July 22, 1966
“I have been fortunate enough to have plenty of “special moments” in my football career, dating back to my high school days. What you do in high school is one thing, college is another, but to achieve such a feat in the NFL, is something totally different. Jogging off the field, I felt as if my feet were not touching the ground. It is a moment in time that will be indelibly imprinted in my mind and on my career.”

You have to love this shot of Rod Martin — the look of victory after winning Super Bowl XV. Not only did the Raiders win that Super Bowl, Rod Martin recorded a Super Bowl record — 3 interceptions in one game! That record has stood for over 26 years. Read below to get a sneak peak into what Rod was thinking during the celebration.
“Looking up with arms stretched towards the top of the Super Dome, with 3 fingers in the air on both hands indicating my 3 interceptions to the area in which my family and my Silver & Black family were sitting amongst all those green & white fans saying “We are the World Champions & I have a Super Bowl Record!!!”. I was thinking about our psp theme song that year “Celebration” by Kool and the Gang, singing ‘Celebrate Good Times Come On” and we are going to party tonight!!!!!”
Rod Martin still holds the record for 3 interceptions in a Super Bowl. His 3 interceptions are not only a Super Bowl record but they also tied linebacker Chuck Howley’s record for career Super Bowl interceptions. Martin is the only one to record all 3 interceptions in one game.
